Conditionality (Tax Checks)
From April 2023, Taxi, private-hire drivers and private-hire operators will have to pass tax checks before renewing or applying for their licenses. If you aren’t registered for tax, your license is at risk.
Tax software on it’s own isn’t enough, if you haven’t been registered for a long time you’ll need to make a ‘Failure to Notify’ claim, we can do all of this for you. We have been doing this successfully for drivers for 25 years.
We were involved in the technical consultation for conditionality with the Licensed Private Hire Car Association (LPHCA) at HMRC and sat on the Institute of Licensing Conditionality panel so are are experts on this change in tax law.
